OSP-OptiCore-400/800 are Layer 2/3 MPLS Switches. The OptiCore 800 is an eight slot Carrier Class advance switch with full MPLS Layer/3 functionality, while the OptiCore is a four slot unit. Both chassis when basically configured may support fast redundancy via VRRP when in ring mode configuration. Unit provides 4/8 access slots for the inclusion various optical 10Gbp/s modules, plus 10/100/1000BaseT electrical and optical mixed modules. Port density varies from 1 to 16 10Gbp/s ports or 348 10/100/1000 electrical ports. Modules may be interchanged to provide flexible port type distribution. MPU switching capacity ranges from 192Gig to 384Gig and may be configured with dual MPU for redundancy, unit also provides dual autonomous DC-48 power connections.
OSP-OptiEdge-100 Layer-3 MPLS switch series. The series offer a full suite of advanced software features coupled a comprehensive ports configuration suited to meet the most stringent needs. The OptiEdge series can provide several 10Gbp/s MPLS Edge to Core or Core direct connections with 12 to 24 10/100/1000 optical or electrical connections.
The OSP OptiAccess series are four distinct products; a Layer 2 and a Layer 3 switch with either 24 ports electrical 10/100BaseT or 24 ports 10/100-FX (SFP) ports, developed for the deployment to the end user.
